FAQs

The following are a list of frequently asked questions regarding the therapeutic and group services offered by Rosemeade Counseling. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Kasey Wiggam by booking a free consult or by emailing kasey@rosemeadecounseling.com.

  • Rosemeade Counseling clients are typically women, young adults & members of the LGBTQ+ community in their late teens through early adulthood. My clients are typically seeking support for major life transitions (college, graduation, relationships, etc.), anxiety, that "stuck" feeling, depression, sexual assault, trauma, relationships (peer, intimate & family), self-esteem and body confidence and women's issues. If you aren't sure if you fit this criteria, book a free consult and we can decide together if we are a good fit!

  • An eclectic blend of therapy techniques will be used to best fit your specific needs. These may include Brainspotting, Interpersonal Relations Therapy (IRT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relational Therapy, and Mindfulness Based techniques. We will work together to decide what techniques work best for your healing.

  • Brainspotting is a powerful therapeutic approach used to help process unresolved trauma, emotional pain, and mental health challenges like anxiety or depression. Similar to EMDR, it works by accessing the brain's deeper emotional centers through specific eye positions, helping you release stored trauma and emotions that may be impacting your well-being. Brainspotting is utilized at no additional charge and will be utilized at the discretion of both you and your therapist during a typical or intensive session.

  • Session frequency is unique to each client and their needs. I typically recommend that we start weekly, then taper to a lower frequency as needed! We will discuss this during your intake session and evaluate as we go.

  • You are strongly encouraged to bring a list (or make a mental list) of the important or big subjects you want to dig into, share, or get feedback on. This can be anything that happens between sessions, stuff that has popped up from your past, things that weigh on you or you think about often, experiences or thoughts that have come up from homework, or things you have been working on in sessions. We put as much effort into your work as you do and encourage you to come prepared!

  • Virtual AND in-person services are offered at this time. Virtual services are offered to all Indiana and Florida residents. In-person services take place on the North-Side of Indy and are easily accessible to those located in Hamilton, Marion, and surrounding counties.

  • Rosemeade Counseling is located at 70 91st Street, Indianapolis IN, 46240 in Suite 201.

  • One late cancellation (less than 48 hour's notice) or no-show is waived. Any following late cancels or no-shows incur a charge equal to the original session fee, charged to the card you have on file.

  • A typical session is $140, but fees range from $75 - $230 depending on the type of session you are booking. Check out the "Pricing & Services" page for more information.

  • To provide the best range of care to our clients, Rosemeade Counseling does not take insurance. You may be provided a “Superbill” upon request at the end of each month to submit to your insurance on your own. Not all out-of-network sessions are covered; it depends on the session duration and modality (virtual or in-person). See the “Pricing & Services” page for further info on prices and options to pay for therapy.

  • Ask your therapist for more information on how to submit a claim to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement! Information commonly needed include:
